The cost of renting an EV car in Nepal varies depending on the type of vehicle, rental duration, and additional services and destinations if you are hiring for the destination drop. You can hire a EV car on three modules, per hour option, per day option and per destinations for all variations of the EV. Here are basic EV car rental options

For Hour Option

• EV needs to hire a minimum of 4 hours.

• 13% will be added if VAT bill is required (For all Option)

For Day Option

• Electrical vehicles must be rented for a minimum of 3 days.
• The maximum driving time is 8 hours per day, as per international labor law.
• The maximum distance you can travel is 85 KM per day.
• You need to arrange and prepay for the driver’s accommodation and food if you hire a vehicle.
• A 13% VAT will be added if a VAT bill is requested for any option.

For the Destination Options

• If your airport arrival or departure is after 8 PM or before 5 AM, a 25% surcharge will be added to the cost for the arrival and departure.

• For same-day return trips, you must return before 8 PM; otherwise, an overnight charge will be applied.

• If there are any issues with the vehicle during the trip, Rent in Nepal will provide a replacement Scorpio immediately, as soon as possible.

• The above cost 13% government tax is not included.

• Fuel and vehicle maintenance costs are included.
